CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your camp more than 4 weeks before the day of your camp you can receive a full refund to your card

If you cancel your camp between 2-4 weeks before the day of your camp you will be able to receive the full amount of the camp as money on your account here at The Driveway to be used on future services

If you cancel your camp less than 2 weeks before the day of your camp you will not be able to receive any money back.

You can cancel your camp online or by emailing Ashley at ashley@drivewayhoops.com.

If you cancel online more than 4 weeks before the camp and want it refunded to your card you have to email Ashley at ashley@drivewayhoops.com in order to have that done. Cancelling online only puts it onto your account, Ashley has to be notified to have it refunded to your card.

If your child is injured shortly before your camp, after refund deadline, and that is the reason for your cancellation email Ashley at ashley@drivewayhoops.com.
LITTLE HOOPERS BASKETBALL CAMPS:
The Little Hoopers Camp is for kids going into 1st-2nd grade and is designed to introduce them to the basic FUNdamentals of the game in a fun, energetic, and encouraging environment. Kids will learn some skills, play some fun games, be encouraged by our great summer staff...and leave The Driveway excited to play more hoops!

Camps:
This camp will focus on overall offensive skill development. Ball handling, passing, shooting, footwork, body positioning, reading the defense, and more! Kids will play 3 on 3 to work on what they're learning in a game context, but the focus will be on their individual skill development.

Next level guard
Camps:
The NLGC is a competition based camp, focused on guard play, where we "draft" the players equally so there shouldn't be one dominant team as the talent is spread out over the teams through the draft process. The learning in this camp takes place in game situations, and after each game, players go upstairs and watch video of their game with Coach Ryan as he breaks down all aspects of the game.
**16 hours over three days. First day 1pm-5pm, second day 8am-5pm, third day 8am-12pm**

Attack the Rim
Camps:
This camp challenges players to be a threat every time they touch the ball. Players will work on body position on the catch, utilizing fakes creatively and effectively, attacking off the dribble, understanding angles and when to change your attack line, and attacking in transition. Kids will play 1 on 1, 2 on 2, and 3 on 3 to work on what they're learning in a game context.

Camps:
This camp will cover every aspect of shooting, including: footwork, body and hand position, and effective shooting mechanics. We will also train our shot through innovative and challenging drills, as well as use video to analyze what we need to work on.

FINISHING
Camps:
Doesn't do any good to get to the rim if you can't FINISH!! Our NEW Finishing Camp will be highlighting techniques and mechanics to finishing as well as decision-making against primary and secondary defenders. Various finishing situations will be covered from finishing from a perimeter drive to post-up opportunities via the dribble as well as focus of finishing against length/size. Proper progressions will be taught "on air" to make sure we're executing finishes correctly all the way to finishing against live defenders and game-speed decisions.

The Essential Guard Skills Camp is designed to identify and educate players on the parts of their offensive game that are likely overlooked but most important. Focus areas of this camp include topics such as: Passing the ball in the full and half court, handling the ball against a closely guarded defender, decision-making in common situations/scenarios, ball screen options, and more. Not only will we be spending time on the "what" to do, but also the "how", "why", "where", and "when" for our skills in game situations. This camp is designed to help you improve at the things you do THE MOST in a game...not the things that look cool on Instagram that you never actually use in a game!

5th-6th grade girls
FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS CAMP:
The Driveway's Foundational Skills camp is designed to give 5th-6th grade girls a comprehensive basketball camp experience throughout the summer where coaches can give players feedback and evaluation based on The Driveway's "Sidewalk" Curriculum for player development. Each day will consist of specific skill development and targeted drills as well as small sided (3v3, 2v2) games and competitive play. Players will be evaluated at the end of each day on the Foundational Skills so they know where they stand in each area of the game and know what to specifically work on to improve.

This camp is 5 days across the summer, each day will focus on a different Foundational Skill. The five skills will be:

Camps:
This camp is for players looking to learn how the best in the world consistently beat defenders off the pivot and the dribble. Enrollment in this camp is limited and players will be coached through techniques and strategies to advance their game to a new level off the dribble. With so many offenses going to a perimeter “attacking off the dribble” style, players need to up their attacking game.

ADVANCED Shooting
Camps:
This camp is for 7th-12th graders and is highly encouraged that players have attended one of Ryan’s shooting camps in the past. This camp will have a limited amount of participants and is not coed. The focus will be on refining mechanics and learning the advanced strategies the great shooters use to get open, catch and shoot quickly, and create shots off the dribble. Shooting drills will be competitive and against defenders in game style simulations.

ADVANCED FINISHING
